About Us

The Second Chance Leadership Academy (SCLA) was founded with a clear purpose — to equip justice-impacted individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in life, leadership, and legitimate business ventures. We believe in the power of transformation and the right to redemption. Our programs are designed to break barriers, open doors, and create pathways for personal and professional success. Whether a participant is currently incarcerated, recently released, or supporting a loved one on their reentry journey, SCLA provides practical, real-world training that empowers people to turn their second chance into their greatest opportunity.

SCLA delivers dynamic, career-ready programs in areas such as legal studies, entrepreneurship, and personal development. Each course is built to meet people where they are, blending structured curriculum with motivational guidance to help participants gain industry-recognized certifications, sharpen essential skills, and prepare for sustainable success. We are committed to providing education that not only teaches but transforms — fostering resilience, responsibility, and readiness.

At SCLA, we know that second chances are more than a concept — they are a lifeline. Our mission is to give individuals the tools to rewrite their story, reclaim their future, and lead lives of purpose and impact. Through innovative training, mentorship, and advocacy, we are helping to change the narrative about what’s possible after incarceration. We stand as a bridge between potential and achievement, walking alongside our students as they build confidence, credibility, and careers that reflect their true capabilities. At the Second Chance Leadership Academy, we don’t just teach — we invest in futures.
